Rabbitohs star Jack Wighton has been found guilty of a grade two shoulder charge at the NRL judiciary and will miss four games.
Wighton was sent to the sin bin and placed on report for his hit on Cronulla forward Toby Rudolph in the 45th minute of their game on Saturday night in Gosford.
If Wighton had taken an early plea, he would have only missed three games, but given he has fought the charge and lost at the judiciary, he will spend four weeks on the sidelines.

The verdict was a unanimous one.
It’s a huge blow to the Rabbitohs, who are fighting desperately to avoid the wooden spoon.
South Sydney already has a crippling injury toll and Wighton’s suspension is yet another headache for coach Wayne Bennett.
