The Daily Telegraph reported the Tigers have come to the party and upped their original one-year offer to two to match the same offer from the Dragons.
It comes on the back of Doeuihi’s man-of-the-match display in the upset 28-14 win over the Bulldogs.
The club informed Doueihi’s camp on Monday that they were willing to extend his current deal, that expires in November, until the end of 2027.
The local junior has been locked in talks with the Tigers amid interest from rivals, including the Dragons, who reportedly offered him a two-year contract.
It is understood his preference was to remain at the Tigers but the club had previously only tabled a one-year extension.
The 27-year-old has scored 28 tries and 179 goals in 113 games for the Rabbitohs and Tigers since his debut in 2018.
