1. Dylan Edwards – 6.5

Lack of ball kept the workaholic fullback quiet in the first half but did all he could to help pull the Blues back into the game. Still came up with a couple of costly errors.

2. Brian To’o – 8.5

The little big man was enormous. Clocked up 25 runs for 203m and once again proved what a great finisher he is to score a hattrick. The only other hattrick in a loss was Chris Anderson for NSW in Game 3 1983.

3. Stephen Crichton – 6.5

Hardly sighted until he came up with a huge play midway through the second half when he busted through three defenders to score a vital try.

4. Latrell Mitchell – 7.5

Had a mixed night but more good than bad. Two try assists and a huge one-on-one steal as the Blues came charging home.

5. Zac Lomax – 7

Once again all effort but would rue a couple of costly errors and struggled with his goal kicking on a tough night in the wet.

6. Jarome Luai – 6.5

Outstanding second half but poor discipline and errors really let him down as the Blues got off to a terrible start.

7. Nathan Cleary – 6

Struggled with a leg injury that clearly impacted his kicking game, while Cleary’s composure in a couple of crucial moments was lacking.

8. Max King – 5

Worked hard but didn’t get the opportunity he did in the first game. Finished with six runs for 42m.

9. Reece Robson – 5.5

Worked hard as always defensively but would love to see him run more from dummy-half.

10. Payne Haas – 8

Kept quite in the first half but was enormous in the second half to finish with 16 runs for 121m and equal most tackles with 32.

11. Liam Martin – 5.5

Did his best to get under Queensland’s skin early but his old mate Cameron Munster got the last laugh. Not at his rampaging best.

12. Angus Crichton – 6.5

Another who had a big second half and capped it off with a try.

13. Isaah Yeo – 7

Didn’t have impact he did in game one but still very solid with 14 runs for 92m and came up with 30 tackles.

Val & Martin COLLIDE – Hammer to the sky | 01:04

14. Connor Watson – 5

Didn’t get on until the final 20 minutes but created some spark out of dummy half.

15. Spencer Leniu – 6.5

Put a case forward to get a start in game three. Made some bone jarring hits and carried the ball like he wanted to make a difference.

16. Hudson Young – 7

Came on late first half and made an impact with 14 runs for 99m and equal top of the tackle count with 32.

17. Stefano Utoikamanu – 5.5

Got through plenty of work but would be regretting the obstruction penalty that robbed Nathan Cleary a try.
